Fambee helps your family stay organized by turning everyday messages, like school notices, appointment reminders, and bills, into calendar events and to-dos. This policy explains what information we use and how we protect it. We've kept it short and plain.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name and email address when you create an account.
- Email and calendar data (only if you connect an account): when you connect a Google or Microsoft account, Fambee reads your email messages and calendar events using read-only access. We read only what helps organize your family, such as dates, events, and tasks.
- What you add in the app: family members, events, lists, and preferences you create or that Fambee creates for you.
How we use your information
- To find family-relevant events and tasks in your inbox and calendar and turn them into calendar entries, reminders, and suggestions.
- To remember helpful context about your family so Fambee gets more useful over time.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Fambee service for you.
What we never do
- We never send emails or messages on your behalf. Fambee can draft; you decide.
- We never delete your email or calendar data.
- We never sell or rent your personal information.
- We never use your connected email or calendar data, or transfer it, for advertising.
- We never track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- We never use your data to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
Limited Use of Google data
Fambee's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we store and protect your data
Your data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure and protected in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the small team that operates Fambee. We keep your information only while your account is active and delete it when you close your account.
Service providers
We rely on a few trusted service providers to run Fambee. When you connect a Google or Microsoft account, the connection is set up and maintained through our authentication provider, Composio, which performs the sign-in and securely holds the access tokens needed to read the inbox and calendar data Fambee uses on your behalf. Our providers may process your information only to provide their service to us, under confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and may not use it for their own purposes.
AI processing
Fambee uses AI to read and organize your information. Content needed to complete a task may be processed by our AI provider only to return that result to you. It is not used to train their models or ours.
Your choices
- You can disconnect a connected account at any time in Fambee's settings, or revoke access from your Google account permissions or Microsoft account permissions.
- You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@getfambee.com. Disconnecting or deleting stops further access immediately.
Children
Fambee is intended for parents and caregivers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we'll update this page and revise the date above.
