Information we collect

• Account details: your name and email address when you create an account.
• Email and calendar data (only if you connect an account): when you connect a Google or Microsoft account, Fambee reads your email messages and calendar events using read-only access. We read only what helps organize your family, such as dates, events, and tasks.
• What you add in the app: family members, events, lists, and preferences you create or that Fambee creates for you.

How we use your information

• To find family-relevant events and tasks in your inbox and calendar and turn them into calendar entries, reminders, and suggestions.
• To remember helpful context about your family so Fambee gets more useful over time.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Fambee service for you.

What we never do

• We never send emails or messages on your behalf. Fambee can draft; you decide.
• We never delete your email or calendar data.
• We never sell or rent your personal information.
• We never use your connected email or calendar data, or transfer it, for advertising.
• We never track you across other companies' apps or websites.
• We never use your data to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

Limited Use of Google data

Fambee's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we store and protect your data

Your data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure and protected in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the small team that operates Fambee. We keep your information only while your account is active and delete it when you close your account.

Service providers

We rely on trusted service providers to run Fambee, such as cloud hosting, account connection and sign-in, AI processing, analytics, and notification delivery. When you connect a Google or Microsoft account, a provider that specializes in secure account connections performs the sign-in and holds the access tokens needed to read the inbox and calendar data Fambee uses on your behalf. Our providers may process your information only to provide their service to us, under confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and may not use it for their own purposes.

Website analytics

On getfambee.com we use an analytics service to understand how visitors use the website: which pages are viewed, which buttons are clicked, and where people stop during sign-up. It records the options you pick in the sign-up steps, never the name you type. It also makes session recordings, a replay of how a visit moved through the site (clicks, scrolling and what was on screen), so we can see where sign-up gets confusing. Anything you type is hidden from those recordings, your sign-up code is left out of them, and pages opened from a private link (sign-in, password reset, email verification and family invites) are never recorded. We don't use it for advertising or to follow you across other sites.

App analytics

The Fambee app also uses an analytics service to understand which features help families: for example, when Home is opened, which kinds of cards are answered or dismissed, and how long a reply takes. These events describe what happened, never what it was about. They never include names, messages you write, email content, document names, or event titles. They are tied to a scrambled account identifier, not to your name or email address, and are not used for advertising or to track you across other companies' apps. The app does not record your screen. You can turn this off at any time in Settings, under Privacy and data, with “Share usage data”; the setting applies to the phone you change it on.

AI processing

Fambee uses AI to read and organize your information, for example to spot family events in your email, answer your questions, turn voice notes into text, and help find related information. Content needed to complete a task may be processed by our AI service providers only to return that result to us. It is not used to train their models or ours.

Your choices

• You can disconnect a connected account at any time in Fambee's settings, or revoke access from your Google account permissions or Microsoft account permissions.
• You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@getfambee.com. Disconnecting or deleting stops further access immediately.

Children

Fambee is intended for parents and caregivers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we'll update this page and revise the date above.
